WOMEN'S TEAM
Drafting fourth in the four team league, the Beacons chose Sabrina Sobhy with their first pick. Sobhy, a five time Cleveland Classic participant, is wrapping up an injury rehab in time for the PSA World Championships and NSL season. With the second pick, the Beacons selected England’s Lucy Beecroft, who reached a career high of #20 on the PSA World Tour in 2024. Canadian lefty Hollie Naughton was the Beacons’ third pick, joined by Squash in the Land wild card Alina Bushma, and Toledo’s own Audrey Berling. The team will be coached by Ineta Hopton.
MEN'S TEAM
With the first pick, the Beacons chose Victor Crouin, who was last in Cleveland at the 2019 CSC Open while he was still studying at Harvard. Since then, he has climbed the PSA ranking to a career high of #7. Next chosen for the Beacons was 2024 Squash in the Land runner-up Bernat Jaume. World #52 Yannick Wilhelmi, Penn’s Nick Spizzirri, and Daniel Mekbib fill out the strong lineup.
